Role Overview:

We are seeking an ambitious and talented animator who is passionate about generative AI, its rapid advancements, and the exciting new creative opportunities made possible by these new technologies. The successful candidate will join our team on a part-time freelance basis and contribute to this high-profile documentary project. You will play a pivotal role in turning scripts and detailed storyboards into next-generation animations that will be prominently featured in the series.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the directors, producers, the Head of Animation, and the Animation Storyboard Artist to bring the animation vision to life.

• Utilize the latest AI-powered tools for video, image creation, text-to-animation, and generative AI to create innovative and novel animations.

• Transform scripts and storyboards into compelling animations that enhance the storytelling experience of the documentary.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in generative AI and animation technology, and apply these advancements to your work.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience or strong demonstration of new work in AI animation, with a keen interest in generative AI and its applications.

• Hands-on expertise, whether professionally trained or self-taught, with emerging tools and technologies that are creating an entirely new world of animation and visualization through generative AI.

• Technical savvy and ability to adapt to rapidly evolving technologies.

• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with a creative team.

• Passion for documentary storytelling and a desire to push the boundaries of animation in this genre.
